Mysore Yoga Foundation

Rooted in Wellness. Driven by Humanity.

Rooted in the traditions of Mysuru, we envision a future where wellness, learning and opportunity are accessible to everyone.

Our purpose

Where wellness meets humanity.

Mysore Yoga Foundation is a charitable trust established in 2019 in Mysuru, Karnataka. We believe that wellbeing is not a privilege: it belongs alongside education, dignity and opportunity.

Our vision is to bring India’s traditional knowledge of yoga and holistic well-being together with modern approaches to education, inclusion and community development, so that more people can live well, learn and take part fully in society.

We are at an early stage. What follows is our intent, and we have marked it that way.

Our mission

Three pillars

Yoga & Wellness

Promoting physical, mental and holistic well-being through accessible yoga, rooted in traditional knowledge.

Education & Opportunity

Expanding access to education for underserved communities, from school through college, so that opportunity does not depend on where someone starts.

Dignity & Inclusion

Promoting dignity, inclusion and opportunity for marginalised communities, with respect for privacy and consent.

These are the pillars of our mission — the direction of our work, not a record of completed achievements.

Yoga & wellness

Yoga that meets people where they are

We are planning programmes that make traditional yoga accessible — from community sessions to workplace and senior wellness. None has a confirmed schedule yet.

  • Traditional yoga

Posture, breathing and philosophy, taught with care and made accessible.

    Planned
  • Community wellness

Open sessions that bring yoga practice to people in local communities.

    Planned
  • Workplace yoga

Yoga and stress-management sessions for workplaces and organisations.

    Planned
  • Inclusive well-being

Gentle, accessible practice for older adults and for people who find yoga harder to reach.

Everyone deserves to be seen, respected and included.
